Where Every Number Comes From
The per-source board below is generated at every build from the same file the score reads (data/output/latest.json). If a source is late, this page shows it; if a pillar dropped, this page shows it too.

Missing-data policy
Each source has a published freshness limit. If it goes silent inside its limit, the last value is carried forward and flagged aging (visible above). If it goes silent past its limit, that pillar drops from the day's composite and the remaining weights renormalize. The home-page plaque publicly shows the count "N of 7 pillars used today". No silent degradation.
- Daily series (TIPS, dollar, GVZ, GLD, spot): staleness limit 7 business days.
- Weekly series (COT): staleness limit 10 days.
- Monthly series (CPI, World Bank price, IRFCL): staleness limit 45 days.
A note on the sourcing chain
Board of Governors series (H.15, H.10) are US public domain regardless of fetch channel. The site sources them producer-first (Board Data Download Program, moving to the Board-designated FRED channel as DDP retires) and reserves the right to fallback fetches. Cboe GVZ is used internally under proprietary rights; the pillar sub-score is a percentile-rank transformation designed to be non-reversible without the site's own internal history, per Cboe licensing constraints recorded in the site's operating rules.
